Three men – Hrithik alias Roshan (22, Begusarai), Rehan (18, Sonipat) and Phool Singh (18, Haryana) – fired multiple rounds at Tiger Shroff’s car as he left a football match in Juhu, Mumbai, Sunday night. Police said the shooters were on a motorcycle and fled immediately after the attack. The assault took place at 7:30 pm local time, according to Mumbai Police.
Investigators revealed the plot was pre‑planned. Anil Pandit, an associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, acted as a handler, coordinating the operation from a distance. After the shooting, the shooters called Pandit to report the job was done. Pandit and his network waited for media reports before posting a pre‑recorded Facebook video and an audio clip claiming responsibility.
The three accused received ₹50,000 collectively as an advance, with promises of additional payment after the attack. Rehan had previously fired at a businessman in Amritsar, a move that led Pandit to contact him. The police recovered a bag containing a pair of clothes for each accused and mobile phones from two of them; forensic labs will trace the devices to map the shooters’ reconnaissance.
Mumbai Police will produce the men before a court after medical examinations. The Anti‑Extortion Cell is leading the investigation, probing links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and potential foreign employment promises made to the shooters.
A fan filmed the incident on his phone, and a bullet struck the vlogger’s head, underscoring the sudden violence that can erupt even during a routine evening in Juhu. The case now heads to court, where the accused will face charges of attempted murder and conspiracy.
