The launch, held in Panaji’s Lok Bhavan, marked a new chapter in Goa’s youth development agenda. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant handed over the programme booklet and outlined a roadmap that places education, skills, technology and innovation at the centre of the state’s growth strategy.
At the same venue, the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications introduced the Goa Online AI WhatsApp chatbot, a digital bridge that will allow residents to request permits, pay fees and access government schemes directly through the popular messaging platform.
The event also saw the inauguration of the Ayur Hackathon, organised by the Goa Council of Ayurvedic and Other Allied Indian Systems of Medicine. The competition will invite young technologists to devise technology‑driven solutions for Ayurveda and related fields, expanding the frontier of traditional medicine.
Speaking to the crowd, CM Sawant stressed that the future of work in Goa hinges on skill‑based education and Industry 5.0. He urged young people to become creators rather than seekers, pointing to emerging opportunities in Ayurveda, disaster management and digital services.
With the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan set to deliver a fortnight‑long sequence of workshops and the AI chatbot already live, the government will monitor engagement metrics and tweak the rollout to keep pace with the demands of Goa’s youth.
