Delhi Police arrested CJP leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka on a flight from Delhi to Mumbai, just before the party staged a protest at Jantar Mantar on Saturday.
Kejriwal slammed the arrests on X, labeling the detained officers as "cockroaches" and accusing the Modi administration of a "fear‑based" crackdown.
He demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and even called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step down, comparing the security clampdown to the Emergency.
The Delhi Police set up a fortified perimeter around Kejriwal's residence and deployed thousands of officers across central Delhi, shutting down 45 metro stations from 9 pm Friday to 6 pm Saturday to block the protest route.
Kejriwal said he would attend the protest with his family, while the government has yet to announce a formal response to the CJP leaders' detention.
