Three men were arrested in Rajasthan after gunmen fired at Tiger Shroff’s Mumbai car on Sunday night, injuring a 36‑year‑old vlogger who was filming the incident.
At about 7 pm the vehicle was exiting the football club’s gate in Juhu when shots rang out, the actor—dressed in a muscle‑tee—waved to fans as the first bullet struck the car’s rear‑view mirror.
Umesh Chauhan, the vlogger, felt a sudden sharp pain in his chest and later learned he had been shot; he was taken to Cooper Hospital where staff confirmed a bullet lodged in his chest before being transferred to KEM for specialist care.
Police said the trio, each armed with guns, fled on a motorcycle but were intercepted in Kota, Rajasthan, while en route to Delhi; the suspects reportedly received a collective advance of ₹50,000.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang posted a video claiming responsibility, but police have not verified the link; communications were traced to Signal and Telegram.
Investigators will file charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act, and the suspects are expected to stand trial at Mumbai’s High Court for attempted homicide and illegal possession of firearms.
