Kota Police detained three men suspected of firing at actor Tiger Shroff and transferred them to Mumbai Police after a 900‑km convoy that swapped vehicles and rerouted thrice. The suspects—Hritik Kumar, 22, from Bihar, and Rehan and Phool Singh, 18, from Haryana—were arrested Monday morning at the Pune‑Jaipur Express platform.
The convoy kicked off at 10:30 AM with two Innova Crystas, one white, one silver, and halted at Bharuch at 6:45 PM before the accused were moved to the silver car. The white vehicle slowed below 40 km/h while the silver kept 130‑140 km/h. A Maharashtra‑registered Innova joined at 9:30 PM, and the group paused at a Valsad petrol pump at 10:10 PM before crossing into Maharashtra at 10:50 PM.
The attack happened Sunday night at Juhu when Shroff’s BMW was hit by seven rounds from a distance, shattering the front and injuring the driver and an autorickshaw driver. Footage that surfaced online showed the shooters firing from a nearby spot. Shroff, unhurt, drove to a nearby hospital to escort his driver to treatment.
After the shootout, the suspects tried to flee to Surat, boarded a Jaipur‑bound train, and were intercepted before reaching the border. They were taken to a hospital for a medical exam and will be booked with charges of attempted murder before a Mumbai court.
