The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the late‑night attempt on Bollywood star Tiger Shroff in Mumbai, with spokesperson Anil Pandit issuing a threat to halt Shroff’s collaboration with Salman Khan.
Pandit, who left Panipat for Canada in 2023 and later traveled to California, is believed to have joined the gang through gangster Randeep Malik.
Investigators say Pandit has overseen six shooting incidents across India, including firing and extortion cases in Haryana, Delhi and Pune, many involving foreign‑made weapons.
The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch and Special Cell arrested four shooters linked to Pandit after a gym shooting in Paschim Vihar, while the Maharashtra Police detained a trio from Rajasthan involved in a Pune jewellery‑shop attack.
Authorities have also tied Pandit to other gang affiliates such as Shubham Lonkar and Randeep Malik, and a U.S. district court has issued an arrest warrant for fellow member Harry Boxer under Operation Hard Ball.
Police are continuing to probe the transnational network, with a judicial hearing scheduled for next month.
