Beyond the two new mini excavators, the pavilion offered a full spectrum of 13 machines, from the e‑33U battery‑electric excavator that signals a shift toward lower‑emission gear to heavy‑duty backhoe loaders and wheel loaders. The e‑33U, for instance, reflects the industry’s push to meet stricter emissions norms while keeping operational costs down.
To showcase versatility, the company also displayed a wide array of attachments—rock breakers, bucket crushers, drum cutters and more— illustrating how a single base unit can be swapped to tackle a range of jobs. Couple that with the ConSite and InSite telematics platforms that give fleet managers real‑time data on fuel use, machine health and performance, and you see a package aimed at boosting uptime and cutting running costs.
Tata Hitachi, a joint venture between Tata Motors and Hitachi Construction Machinery, has been producing equipment at its Dharwad, Karnataka and Kharagpur, West Bengal plants for decades and now plans to roll out the new models in the market shortly after the expo.
