JCB’s new Ranchi hub spans 18,000 sq ft, a first‑class base for sales, parts and service.
The 18‑page footprint sits in the capital of Jharkhand and will serve as the central point for 15 districts, a leap from the handful of service points the brand previously had in the state. With 230 employees on hand, the dealership can offer rapid response times that were previously a luxury.
Inside, a four‑bay workshop is ready to tackle everything from backhoe loaders to excavators. LiveLink, JCB’s telematics platform, streams real‑time data on machine performance, utilisation and security—so owners can schedule maintenance before a breakdown occurs. The site also features a rainwater harvesting system, a nod to sustainability that sets a new standard for service centres.
Deepak Shetty, CEO of JCB India, said the investment reflects the company’s long‑term commitment to Jharkhand’s growing infrastructure and mining sectors. He praised Premsons Motor Udyog, a family‑owned partner that has grown alongside JCB, as a key figure in delivering products and support.
The dealership opened on Thursday, and buyers across the state can now expect quicker service and tighter telematics support. Industry watchers will be watching to see if other equipment makers follow suit and bring similar hubs to the region.
