Endurance Technologies Limited’s subsidiary, Endurance Overseas SpA, closed the deal on 29 September 2026, paying €18 million for the final tranche of Stöferle Automotive GmbH and Stöferle GmbH. The transaction instantly bumps the Italian arm’s ownership to 100%, erasing the 32% stake that had been held under a four‑year tranch plan.
Stöferle is a German manufacturer that specializes in machined aluminium die castings for engine and transmission components. These parts are the backbone of modern powertrains, and having them under one roof can shave hours off design cycles and cut overheads.
The €18 million price tag is €2.13 million below the original agreement of €20.13 million, a concession that Endurance secured by exercising its call option early. By locking in the lower figure now, the company sidesteps a potentially higher cost if Stöferle’s performance outpaces the base case in future tranches.
The deal was filed with the BSE and NSE under SEBI Regulation 30, a standard disclosure for related‑party transactions. Endurance says the sale was arm’s‑length, even though the sellers are directors or relatives of Stöferle’s board – a detail that keeps regulators and shareholders in the loop.
Looking ahead, Endurance will integrate Stöferle’s production lines into its existing plant network, a move that could accelerate joint R&D on lightweight components. The timing aligns with India’s push for electric vehicles, where lighter die‑cast parts can boost battery efficiency. Buyers watching the market can expect a ripple effect on component prices and a tighter supply chain for upcoming models.
