In a 2‑minute clip that went viral last Thursday, Dipke, who calls himself the “cockroach” of the party, warned supporters that the next few days will be harder and urged them to keep calm and stay with their families.
He said the movement faces pressure to abandon its core values of peace, love and compassion, and that any turn to hatred would be a betrayal.
Dipke also spoke to the mothers of Das and Ranka, who reassured him that their sons are fighters, ready to face the court and that the supporters should look after themselves.
He compared the jailed leaders’ conduct to Gandhi’s satyagraha, noting they went to jail without anger or hatred, and hinted that the nation would salute them upon release.
The party is gearing up for a rally next month, with supporters expected to gather peacefully, and authorities have warned of possible unrest.
