Sean "Diddy" Combs was transferred from FCI Fort Dix to the low‑security FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania, 155 miles west of New York City, on Friday, following reports of a high‑life lifestyle and an alleged fight injury.
The move comes after NBC News exposed the rapper’s alleged privilege: smuggled Hennessy, inmate‑run meals, a contraband phone, and exclusive massages. Those details prompted the Bureau of Prisons to place Combs in a special housing unit.
On Wednesday, TMZ claimed the artist was injured in a bout with another inmate, but the Bureau denied the claim, calling it false. Regardless, the inmate was docked 41 days of good‑conduct credit, pushing his projected release to March 2, 2028.
Combs, 56, is serving a four‑year, two‑month sentence for transporting people across state lines for prostitution. The case highlighted harrowing testimony about “freak‑offs” and violence.
His lawyers argued the sentence was excessively harsh, and the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments in April. The court’s ruling is expected later this month.
