If the price tag is what drives you, Hero MotoCorp’s latest sales figures say a lot about where Hero Vida stands. The brand has just crossed 200,000 units sold year‑to‑date, a leap from 113,021 in CY2025, and posted 27,435 units in October alone—its highest monthly haul yet.
The lineup now stretches from 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh batteries, with the new VX2 Go FB 3.1 kWh variant offering up to 128 km on a single charge and priced at ₹113,000 ex‑showroom New Delhi. Hero’s Battery‑as‑a‑Service model cuts the upfront cost, letting customers pay only for the battery and power they use—an attractive option for commuters wary of the higher sticker price.
In terms of market share, 200,143 Vidas account for 11 % of the 1.77 million e‑2Ws sold in India this year, moving Hero into the fourth slot behind TVS, Bajaj and Ather. That jump from 8 % in CY2025 shows the brand’s growing acceptance, especially as more ICE riders switch to EVs amid rising petrol prices and festive season demand.
Hero is scaling up production to 45,000 units a month by Q4 FY2027, and its network now covers 900 touchpoints across 475 cities, with over 5,900 charging stations—including Ather Grid access—available to Vida owners. As the capacity rises, future buyers can expect smoother delivery times and a broader charging footprint, making the Vida a practical choice for daily commutes and short‑haul travel.
