If you’re hunting a mid‑size adventure bike that feels like a truck on the road, the new Himalayan 750 gives you a 750cc twin that can push 55‑60hp, delivering a punchy yet approachable ride.
Under the hood, the twin is a beefed‑up version of the 648cc base, expected to crank 55‑60hp and 60‑65Nm of torque, paired with a 6‑speed gearbox that keeps the gear ratios balanced for touring and off‑road bursts. The bike should hit 160‑180km/h and achieve 22‑25km/l in real‑world runs. It will also ride on 19‑inch front and 17‑inch rear alloy wheels, with upside‑down front forks, a rear monoshock, twin front disc brakes, and a single 2‑into‑1 exhaust – a shift from the twin exhausts seen on earlier 650cc models.
The Himalayan 750 will sit above the 450 and 648, stepping into the same class as the KTM 790 Adventure and Yamaha Tenere 700. While the KTM’s 798cc engine delivers 82hp, the Himalayan’s 55hp is more modest but offers a heavier, more relaxed chassis that appeals to riders who want steady comfort over aggressive power.
Royal Enfield will showcase the bike in Milan at EICMA 2026, with an Indian launch slated for late 2026 or early 2027. That means you’ll have to wait a few months after the global debut for the first Indian showroom to stock it.
Keep an eye on the official specs in November. The Himalayan 750 could become the go‑to for riders who want a powerful, comfortable adventure machine without breaking the bank.
