Tiger Shroff escaped unharmed from a targeted gun attack in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday evening, but his driver, Firdaus, was hit by a bullet. The 18-second video captures two men firing directly through the windshield and side window of the actor's BMW sedan as it moved away from a football ground. One shooter, positioned within point-blank range, failed to fire a third or fourth effective round because the weapon jammed. The attackers fled on a motorcycle waiting nearby, driven by a third accomplice.
In the immediate aftermath, Shroff shifted from the front passenger seat to the driver’s position while bystanders screamed that something terrible had happened. Blood stains were visible on the vehicle and the road as a woman urged the actor to take the injured driver to safety quickly. Firdaus was rushed to the hospital, and police confirmed that another man nearby also sustained injuries. Shroff himself was declared safe by officials.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack, releasing an audio clip where a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit stated that Shroff was on their hit list for working with Salman Khan. The gang has repeatedly threatened Khan, and his associates have faced similar attacks in the past. Police sources confirmed that one person has already been detained in connection with the incident.
The state government has vowed swift action against the gang, citing the brazen nature of the attack in a public area. Investigators are currently analyzing CCTV footage that shows one of the shooters attempting to fire a final round before the jam. The case has been registered as an attempt to murder, and police are tracing the mobility of the motorcycle used in the escape.
