If you’re eyeing a new adventure‑style maxi‑scooter, the newly unveiled Honda ADV 160 Trico Edition offers a fresh look without touching the core specs.
The Trico Edition sits at RM 14,149—just RM 500 above the standard model’s RM 13,649—making it a modest upgrade for those who crave a distinctive livery.
Under the hood, a 156.9cc liquid‑cooled single‑cylinder chugs out 16hp at 8,500rpm and 14.7Nm at 6,500rpm, and it’s paired with Honda’s Idling Stop System that cuts fuel use when idling. The scooter also sports dual disc brakes with front ABS, a 5‑inch TFT display, and 30‑litre under‑seat storage.
Its new paint scheme—bold red, crisp white, and navy blue—wraps the front apron and side panels, giving a sportier stance, while the twin LED headlamps and raised windscreen stay unchanged. The aesthetic upgrade keeps the rugged styling intact without altering the hardware.
In Malaysia, the Trico Edition will roll out alongside the existing range—Spider‑Man, Matte Gray, Brown, White, and Gray—while there’s no word yet on an Indian launch, where the standard ADV 160 is priced at Rs 1.70 lakh ex‑showroom.
