With the Indian CNG market expanding, Mahindra’s new XUV 3XO CNG offers a cheaper entry point for families that still want the SUV feel.
Under the hood, a 1.2‑litre turbo‑charged three‑cylinder pumps out 111 hp and 200 Nm, a stark contrast to the Brezza’s 1.5‑litre naturally aspirated four‑cylinder that delivers 88 hp and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode.
On paper, the XUV 3XO claims 24.7 km per kg of CNG, while the Brezza’s 26.9 km/kg gives it a slight edge, but the extra 23 hp means the XUV can sprint faster on the highway.
The XUV 3XO flaunts a 10.25‑inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual‑zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof—features the Brezza only offers on higher trims. It also packs a 270‑litre boot compared to the Brezza’s 328 litres.
The model will roll out across major metros in Q3 2026, with dealers already taking pre‑orders. Keep an eye on the post‑launch service network and how the price holds up against the Brezza’s range.
