
Adani Green Energy (ADANIGREEN, NSE) reported its first‑half FY27 operational update on 10 October, showing a 24% year‑on‑year increase in renewable capacity to 20,763 MW and a 32% rise in energy sales to 25,747 million units.
The company added 4,083 MW of greenfield capacity during April‑September, including 621 MW in Q2 FY27, and operationalised 3,081 MWh of battery energy storage at Khavda, Gujarat, bringing total BESS to 6,632 MWh as of 30 September 2026.
Capacity utilisation factors stood at 22.9% for solar, 42.9% for wind and 45.2% for hybrid portfolios, with plant availability rates of 99.3% (solar), 94.6% (wind) and 98.8% (hybrid).
The company powered more than 4.4 million homes and avoided 17.5 million tonnes of CO₂‑equivalent emissions in the first half of FY27, underscoring its scale in the Indian renewable sector.
Looking ahead, Adani Green Energy will release its Q3 FY27 results on 5 November, and analysts are monitoring the company’s next‑phase greenfield push, which could further lift capacity and sales in the coming quarters.
