A woman linked to the JEEViKA self‑help group claimed she was lured onto a motorcycle by her neighbour, Vikram Kumar Sahni, on September 27 and taken to a cinema hall before being brought to Hotel Blue Diamond.
There, Sahni’s relative, Rohit Kumar, allegedly used a knife to rape her and filmed the assault on his mobile, a video that has since gone viral.
Police released CCTV footage that shows the woman entering the hotel alone at 07:33, while the accused entered at 07:01, contradicting the victim’s claim that they entered together.
Sahni and Kumar have been arrested and the phone used to record the assault seized; investigators will examine the footage and the video to build a case.
