NBCC floated 25 tenders worth ₹9,620.33 crore to revive 16 stalled Supertech projects. The projects span Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Karnataka, totaling about 50,000 units that have been on hold for years.
NBCC was appointed as Project Management Consultant by the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in December 2024, and the Supreme Court in February 2026 upheld its mandate, giving legal certainty to the completion plan.
The move is expected to unlock new contracts for NBCC's construction arm and could bring in significant revenue once the tenders are awarded, though the company has not yet disclosed any financial impact.
Industry experts note that Supertech's stalled projects have strained buyer confidence and that NBCC's intervention may mitigate that risk, potentially stabilizing the residential segment in the affected states.
NBCC will likely monitor the tender awards and subsequent construction milestones, with the first payments to contractors expected following contract signing.
