Track‑only racing bikes from Ohvale have landed in India, offering a lightweight platform that can rival older models in both handling and price.
The GP‑0 110 comes with a 106.7‑cc, air‑cooled single‑cylinder engine and a 4‑speed automatic gearbox, while the GP‑0 160 uses a 155.5‑cc unit and a manual 4‑speed shifter. The top‑end GP‑2 190 packs a 187.18‑cc engine, also paired with a 4‑speed manual transmission.
All three bikes are built on a steel trellis frame with an aluminium swingarm and an Arrow under‑seat exhaust. Standard models feature fully adjustable rear suspension, whereas the Race variants add a 35‑mm USD front fork and full rear adjustability. Braking is consistent across the range: 300‑mm discs at the front and 155‑mm (standard) to 180‑mm (GP‑2 Race) discs at the rear, with Brembo calipers on the Race versions.
Weight is a key selling point. The GP‑0 110 sits at 67 kg, the GP‑0 160 at 65 kg, and the GP‑2 190 at 71 kg. Fibreglass fairings and a compact 3.5‑litre tank keep the overall mass low, while the GP‑2 Race adds a slipper clutch and a quickshifter for sharper power delivery.
For riders looking to sharpen circuit skills without the street‑legal baggage, these bikes sit comfortably between the KTM 125 RC and Yamaha YZF‑R15 in terms of price and performance. The price‑performance ratio is attractive for newcomers who want a dedicated track machine without the cost of a full‑size sportbike.
HOM will roll out the lineup across major Indian cities from September 2026, with pre‑orders opening in late July. Availability will start in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai, with plans to expand to Delhi and Hyderabad next quarter. Keep an eye on the 2027 Indian Motorsport season for the first races featuring these new Ohvale machines.
