Three men on a motorcycle opened fire on Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday evening, firing seven rounds that struck the windshield and side windows. Five bullets hit the vehicle, two missed, and the driver, Firdos Ibrahim Baloch, sustained hand injuries.
An audio clip surfaced hours later in which a man identified himself as Anil Pandit, a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility and warned that anyone linked to Salman Khan would be targeted.
The attack follows a string of assaults linked to the Bishnoi circle, including shots fired at filmmaker Rohit Shetty's Juhu home in February, an incident at Kapil Sharma's café in Canada, and the 2024 murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the violence and pledged to strengthen security for public figures.
The investigation is underway, with police seeking the three gunmen who fired the shots.
