Delhi Traffic Police announced a 1 pm‑midnight curfew on Friday to accommodate Diljit Dosanjh’s concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Six diversion points are identified along Bhisham Pitamah Marg, Lodhi Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, and others, with two additional points ready if traffic surges.
Commuters on the Barapullah Flyover, between INA and Jangpura Metro Gate 2, and on Dayal Singh College Road will face closures; vehicles are barred from entering Dayal Singh College Road at the Lodhi Road intersection, while traffic on Lodhi Road continues toward the Flyover or Aurobindo Marg. The traffic police have warned that any deviation from the set routes may result in fines, urging careful adherence to posted signs.
Metro stations on the Violet Line—JLN Stadium and Jangpura—are highlighted as primary access points for Gates 13, 14, 17, while Yellow Line stations INA and Jor Bagh serve Gates 3, 6, 8. The advisory stresses that no public parking will be available at or around the venue, directing attendees to use the Sunehri Pula Bus Depot and Dayal Singh College for parking, and to rely on taxis or auto‑rickshaws only at designated pick‑up and drop‑off points.
Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time, follow traffic personnel’s instructions, and avoid roadside parking near the stadium to prevent congestion and ensure smooth flow to the concert venue.
