Apple India Pvt Ltd posted revenue of Rs 1,03,853 crore in FY2026, a 31% jump from Rs 79,060 crore the year before, and net profit surged 66% to Rs 5,311 crore, up from Rs 3,196 crore. The revenue pushed the company past the Rs 1 lakh crore threshold, the first time an Indian subsidiary of a global tech giant has crossed that mark. The figures were filed with the Registrar of Companies and extracted by AltInfo.
Samsung Electronics India, Apple's main rival, reported a slight dip in mobile revenue: 1.4% to Rs 81,472 crore, while its broader portfolio saw growth. Samsung’s domestic smartphone sales fell, underscoring a shift in consumer preference toward premium devices. Apple’s dominance in the high‑end segment is evident as its volume growth outpaced the market’s 2% expansion, reaching 24% in FY26.
Shubham Singh, a research analyst at Counterpoint Technology Market Research, said the surge reflects a steady migration toward premium smartphones, buoyed by brand aspiration and wider retail reach. “Apple is benefiting from the shrinking price gap between iPhones and premium Android handsets,” Singh noted, adding that the company’s ecosystem and financing options make iPhones attractive to tier‑2 and beyond buyers. Apple's exports, however, are booked through overseas entities and do not appear in Apple India’s books.
The record haul may give Apple leverage in negotiating tax incentives and expanding its retail footprint across tier‑2 cities. Market watchers expect the company to announce new financing plans soon, while competitors scramble to keep pace. Apple's next move will likely focus on deepening its ecosystem integration and cementing its premium brand in India.
