Police boarded a private aircraft at Delhi airport on Saturday, detaining the CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and two other leaders, while also taking four former chief ministers into custody.
The crackdown followed a planned demonstration at Jantar Mantar, where 3,000 Delhiites were temporarily held at Chhatrasal Stadium, causing traffic snarls and a halt of 250 metro trains.

Commuters, including a daily‑wage worker who missed a job interview and a patient who could not reach the hospital, voiced frustration over the disruptions, illustrating the human cost of the political clash.
Police have denied permission for the protest citing lack of advance notice, and Delhi authorities are expected to face a court hearing next week to decide whether to lift the curbs.
