The raid on a clandestine facility in Sita Colony, Jankipuram, Lucknow on Oct 4 yielded 6.275 kg of freshly manufactured heroin, 2.504 kg of sodium, 787 g of acetic anhydride and a range of lab equipment—an electronic scale, mixer grinder and a gas cylinder.
Earlier in September, Delhi Police tracked a Suzuki Grand Vitara in Begumpur, Lucknow, and arrested 58‑year‑old Laxman Hooda of Rohtak, Haryana, who was carrying 300 g of heroin and ₹3 lakh in cash.
On Sept 17 the police captured Anil, alias Bhola, 51, from Delhi’s Raghubir Nagar, seizing 501 g of heroin from his Mahindra XUV‑700; Anil is a proclaimed offender with a prior NDPS case.
The network’s chief supplier, Ruksar Ali, alias Raju, was apprehended in Bareilly after a 120‑km chase, linking the manufacturing plant to the Delhi‑NCR supply chain.
Investigators say the four arrests cut off distinct roles—source, transport, production and facility management—highlighting a coordinated operation that spanned state borders.
Further probes will map financial links, precursor procurement and other associates, with a view to dismantling the entire chain before the next shipment can move.
