On September 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated Ashok Singhal's centenary, delivering a speech that highlighted his service to the RSS and Indian society.
The leader recalled Singhal’s early years, noting how he spent decades travelling to remote tribal areas and coordinating relief after the 2001 Kutch earthquake.
Modi also referenced Singhal’s pivotal role in the 1991 Boat Club rally and the 2000 World Hindu Conference, underscoring his influence on the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
The ceremony closed with a tribute video and a pledge from the PM’s office to launch a nationwide memorial tour beginning October 5, covering ten major cities across the country.
