The Vibrant Goa Foundation, in partnership with the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce, has announced that the Global Business Summit will take place from October 29 to 31, 2026, at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Taleigao. More than 10,000 delegates from 50+ countries are expected, including 200 exhibitors, 20 ambassadors, 25 government leaders and Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
At the core of the agenda is the Reverse Buyer‑Seller Meet, a matchmaking engine that will connect 220 Goan MSMEs—selected on buyer demand, product fit and export readiness—with over 300 international buyers who responded to a 700‑application call. The meet will generate roughly 1,000 B2B appointments, and the foundation will track post‑summit conversion to feed the state’s Export MSME Champions programme slated for 2037.
Parallel to the buyer‑seller forum, the fourth India‑Africa Business Conclave will host delegates from 30 African nations, while a Global Semiconductor & Electronics Leadership Roundtable will spotlight investment in Goa’s emerging electronics cluster. TiE Panjim’s startup programme will run on October 30, offering angel‑investor matchmaking and pitch sessions.
Local entrepreneur Radhika Patel, who runs a 12‑person hand‑woven fabrics shop in Panaji, says she is eager to secure a deal with a Japanese buyer whose interest was flagged during the pre‑summit matchmaking exercise. "If this partnership goes through, it could double our export orders in a year," she told reporters.
Following the summit, the foundation will publish a report detailing outcomes and any MoUs signed, with a target of at least 20 new trade agreements before the end of 2027.
