South Korean 16‑year‑old Leo Park unveiled a limited‑edition colouring book on 12 June 2024 that contains hand‑drawn scenes of 30 UK cities, from Oxford to Liverpool, produced in partnership with British publisher Colour Your Streets.
Park first began posting sketches on Instagram in 2019, and the platform gave him exposure that led to his 2022 book, Leo's Art Adventure in the United Kingdom. The new collection, titled Enchanting British Cities, extends that success by allowing readers to colour highly detailed architectural studies.
In interviews, Park said he intentionally alters familiar structures to reflect how he imagines them evolving, citing Christopher Wren’s St. Paul’s Cathedral as a recurrent muse. His process blends observational drawing with imaginative redesign, a method he honed during travels across Britain in 2021.
Sales figures released by Colour Your Streets show 8,000 copies sold within the first 48 hours, exceeding the 5,000‑copy print run. The publisher plans a pop‑up gallery at the South Korean Embassy in London on 20 July to showcase the work to both diplomats and art‑connoisseurs.
Park’s parents, who financed his overseas sketch trips, expressed pride in his “global‑mindset” approach. He plans a European tour later this year to refine his cityscapes before a potential paperback edition in 2025.
