A new turbocharged option is now available for the Renault Triber, giving buyers a lift in performance without a huge price jump.
Priced from ₹7.84 lakh to ₹8.99 lakh, the turbo variant sits above the base model but still competes with the higher trims of the standard lineup.
Under the hood, the 1.0‑litre turbo engine delivers 100 hp and 180 Nm of torque, compared to the 72 hp, 96 Nm output of the naturally aspirated 1.0‑litre that powers the original Triber. It also claims 21 km/l versus 19.8 km/l for the NA version.
Beyond raw numbers, Renault tweaked the chassis—adding front and rear anti‑roll bars, recalibrated brakes, and a revised suspension geometry—to keep the car stable under the more spirited power. The turbo version also gets a digital instrument cluster, an 8‑inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and cruise control, depending on the variant.
The Triber Turbo will roll off the production line in March and hit showroom counters in major metros from April, with a launch campaign that highlights its affordability and upgraded tech.
