The new Saswad hub marks a milestone for Mahindra owners in the Pune belt – a 25,400‑sq‑ft space with 18 bays, 13 for routine service and five for bodywork. That’s enough to keep about 4,500 cars on the road each year, covering a wide swath of the upcountry market.
The facility is PPS Motors’ ninth Mahindra outlet in the region, adding a layer of convenience for farmers and private‑vehicle users who often struggle with long travel times to the city’s main workshops. Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, said the expansion is a “step toward delivering outstanding value to our customers” across six states.
Within two years of establishing a local presence in Pune, PPS Motors has sold over 6,200 Mahindra vehicles. The new touchpoint is part of a broader strategy to align sales and after‑sales service, ensuring that buyers can count on timely support without leaving their villages.
For buyers, the key takeaway is reduced wait times and lower travel costs. A 4,500‑vehicle capacity means that even peak periods will see fewer back‑logs, which translates to fewer days off work for farmers and less disruption for commuters.
The launch is already live, and the workshop will accept bookings from the end of this month. Enthusiasts and practical buyers alike will notice a tangible improvement in service reliability as the network tightens around Pune.
Looking ahead, PPS Motors plans to open a few more Mahindra touchpoints over the next year, targeting key upcountry nodes. Keep an eye on the rollout to gauge how the expanded network influences resale values and long‑term ownership costs.
