On September 25, 2026, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) announced the attachment of Rs 129.85 crore in assets belonging to Bhole Baba Organic Dairymilk Pvt Ltd, Sri Vyshnavi Dairy Specialities Pvt Ltd, and Sukriti Foods Pvt Ltd, all tied to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) ghee scandal.
Investigators say that between 2019 and 2024, the firms supplied about Rs 234.5 crore worth of adulterated ghee—blended with refined palm oil, palmolein, palm kernel oil, monoglycerides and acetic acid esters—to prepare the famed Tirumala laddoo prasadam.
Vipin Jain, promoter of Bhole Baba Organic Dairymilk, and Kailash Chand Mangla, promoter of Sukriti Foods, were arrested; Mangla was remanded to judicial custody by a special PMLA court in Visakhapatnam on September 17, 2026. A farmer in Tirupati, who supplied raw milk to the firms, said the scandal has threatened his 20‑year‑old dairy operation.
The ED’s provisional attachment brings the total value of assets attached, seized, or frozen in the case to Rs 132.55 crore, and a PMLA court is slated to hear the money‑laundering charges next month.
