Land acquisition will extend to 45 villages in Gabhana and Koil tehsils of Aligarh, with compensation deposited directly into owners’ bank accounts.
The expressway will link to the Ganga Expressway via a Badaun connector, easing access to Prayagraj and other eastern UP hubs, and will include underpasses, elevated bypasses, and a 12.5‑crore bridge tender issued in June 2026.
The 28‑km stretch between Agra and Aligarh, part of a separate four‑lane project that began in March 2024, is slated for completion by 2028, creating a continuous 4‑lane corridor from Moradabad to Agra.
As construction mobilizes, real‑estate prices are spiking in Harduaganj, Panethi and Gabhana, while farmers are preparing for acquisition. The project is slated for completion by 2029, after which the 90‑minute travel time will be realized.
