Swirl, the new transit hotel, opens on Terminal 1’s arrivals level at NMIA, offering a mix of short‑term rooms and 24‑hour dining—turning the airport into a mini‑resort.
Guests can book four‑hour or overnight stays, with full access to showers, a bar, and in‑room dining—an option many long‑haul travelers have been waiting for.
The six room types span 130 to 410 square feet and include Superior Single, Superior Double, Superior Twin, Superior Accessible, Junior Suite and Executive Suite.
Bansal said the model could be replicated at other Adani airports, with a 21‑room Swirl slated for Lokpriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport in Guwahati.
NMIA began commercial flights in December 2025, and on July 15, Air India Express launched its first international service to Abu Dhabi.
By adding transit hospitality, Adani Airport Holdings aims to tap the growing MMR passenger market and grow non‑aeronautical revenue streams.
