The hike, announced earlier this week, lifts the DA from ₹2,300 to ₹2,484 per month, a move that could sway the sizable cadre of civil servants who have long been a key swing group in the state.
During the launch, Mann handed over the party’s campaign pamphlet to his supporters while Manish Sisodia highlighted that the event signals the start of a mass mobilisation drive that will deploy roughly 2.68 lakh booth‑committee members for door‑to‑door outreach starting September 20.
While BJP’s Nitin Nabin begins its anti‑drug "Drug‑Free Punjab Yatra" in Pathankot, AAP’s strategy pivots on the government’s record and employee engagement, with Mann pledging monthly meetings with staff representatives to address lingering grievances.
The next phase will see AAP rallying grassroots volunteers across the state, with Mann himself slated to head the effort in his Dhuri constituency, as the party gears up to contest the June 2027 assembly elections.
