The FBI announced today that gangster Satinderjeet Singh ‘Goldy Brar’ has been placed on its 10 most wanted list, with a $1 million bounty for anyone who supplies information that leads to his arrest.
Brar is alleged to be the North American chief of the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group, a syndicate that has been linked to a series of violent offences across the United States and Canada, including assassinations, shootings, kidnappings and drug trafficking.
The agency warned that Brar is considered armed, dangerous and an escape risk, a label that follows the issuance of a federal arrest warrant on July 1 in the Central District of California.
The warrant charges him with racketeering‑influenced conspiracy, interference with commerce by extortion and distribution of controlled substances, all under the umbrella of Operation Hardball – a multi‑year investigation targeting India‑based transnational crime groups.
Law enforcement officials say that Brar has directed members of the Bishnoi network worldwide, allegedly orchestrating the murder of Punjab separatist Harjit Singh Nijjar and other political and religious figures.
In the coming days, the FBI will intensify surveillance in California and expand its reach into Canada, where the group is believed to have a foothold, as authorities seek to bring the high‑profile fugitive to justice.
