Montra Electric’s latest Guwahati showroom, run by SK GROUP X, now offers sales, service and spare‑parts for the brand’s Super Auto passenger and Super Cargo carrier models—two of the most popular electric three‑wheelers in the region.
The new outlet turns Guwahati into a full‑service hub, allowing owners to get maintenance, diagnostics and genuine parts without traveling to distant cities. With 11 stores and 35 service points already spread across Northeast India, the company has been steadily tightening its footprint over the last two years.
"Assam sits at the heart of our expansion plans," said Jalaj Gupta, Montra Electric’s Managing Director. "The city’s commercial buzz, growing acceptance of electric mobility and the fast‑growing three‑wheeler ecosystem make it a natural choice for strengthening our network." His words underline a broader trend: NE India is becoming a hotbed for small‑vehicle electrification, driven by lower operating costs and rising tax incentives.
For buyers, the practical takeaway is clear. A local dealership means lower waiting times for service, easier access to spare parts, and a better chance of staying on the road longer. The Super Auto, rated at about 7 km per kWh, and the Super Cargo carrier, rated at roughly 10 km per kWh, both benefit from this proximity.
The Guwahati showroom opened in late September, and customers can already book test drives or purchase vehicles on site. Montra Electric plans to roll out similar hubs in Shillong and Siliguri next year, potentially turning the entire Northeast corridor into a fully serviced electric three‑wheeler network. Watch the rollout for the next wave of dealerships and any updates on pricing or new model variants.
