Gulf Oil Lubricants India’s Q2 FY27 net profit leapt to ₹117 crore, a 34.48 % jump from the ₹87 crore it earned a year earlier.
That surge came on the back of a 44 % rise in standalone revenue, hitting ₹1,379 crore, while total expenses climbed to ₹1,223 crore as raw‑material costs spiked amid West Asia supply‑chain hiccups.
Volume growth was the engine behind the numbers, with lubricants sales up 16 % year‑on‑year across OEM workshops, B2B industrial accounts, marine segments and commercial fleets.
EBITDA also rose 37 % to ₹163 crore, but the margin slipped 58 basis points to 11.8 %, down from 12.4 % a year ago, reflecting tighter pricing pressure.
Meanwhile, the electric‑mobility arm, Tirex, recorded a staggering 78 % revenue jump, expanding its fast‑charging network across OEMs, charge‑point operators and fleet clients, signalling a boom in EV infrastructure.
With the government’s 2025 EV rollout plan tightening and duty reductions on charging equipment, Gulf Oil’s performance portends a resilient aftermarket. Buyers can expect continued emphasis on high‑quality lubricants and accessible charging nodes in major metros over the next quarter.
