Nitin Nabin hosted heads of mission from 50 countries and 90 senior diplomats at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Friday, October 30, 2026.
The event was billed as a Diwali Milan Samaroh celebrating India’s rich traditions and the spirit of friendship. Union ministers and senior BJP leaders also turned up, and Nabin said the gathering reflected PM Modi’s vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam while reinforcing bonds of goodwill.
Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, in‑charge of the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department, explained that the ceremony aimed to showcase India’s heritage and strengthen people‑to‑people ties. It followed the first National Executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha held at the party’s extension on Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, where the party outlined a roadmap for Viksit Bharat 2047 and the Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao campaign. The meeting drew Nitin Nabin, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, BJYM National President Hemang Joshi, National General Secretary Harish Dwivedi and youth wing office‑bearers from across the country.
Nabin congratulated the newly constituted BJYM team and highlighted the party’s ideological journey over the past 40‑45 years, noting that under PM Modi’s leadership, BJP’s welfare policies now reach every town, village, and chaupal. He added that even voters who do not support the BJP feel that only Modi can secure the country’s future.
The Diwali event underscored India’s diplomatic outreach and is expected to influence forthcoming diplomatic dialogues, deepening cultural ties and strengthening India’s position on the global stage.
