The 2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift enters the market with a base ex‑showroom price of ₹6.99 lakh, climbing to ₹10.49 lakh for the top trim. Its new 1.2‑liter three‑cylinder Z12E engine delivers 83 hp and 112 Nm, a slight dip from the old four‑cylinder but paired with better fuel economy—23.8 km per litre in the manual version and 24.8 km in the AMT.
Under the hood, the car also gets a Level‑2 ADAS suite, plus a tyre‑pressure monitoring system. These systems keep the Glanza ticking with safety tech that rivals the i20’s driver‑assist package, yet at a price point closer to the Baleno.
The exterior gets a honeycomb grille, satin‑finish trim, LED fog lamps, and a shark‑fin antenna. Two fresh paint jobs—Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black—give it a more contemporary look, while the rest of the body stays largely the same.
Inside, the cabin sees leatherette seats and ventilated front seats, a feature usually reserved for premium sedans. A wireless phone charger with a cooling vent under the dash adds a touch of luxury. The Clarion audio system, with four speakers and two tweeters, gives decent sound without the need for a pricey upgrade.
The CNG model now runs on the same engine, producing 70 hp and 102 Nm, and can be chosen with either a manual or AMT gearbox. Toyota claims up to 34.5 km per kg on the manual, 33.6 km on the AMT—figures that appeal to cost‑conscious buyers.
With the facelift, the Glanza keeps its place in a crowded segment that includes the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Tata Altroz. The new tech and slightly improved efficiency help it stay competitive, especially as the government pushes for higher safety standards. The car will roll out across major cities starting in November, with dealers expected to start taking orders in early December.
