Reliance Industries announced a record quarterly profit of Rs 29,550 crore for the July‑September 2026 quarter, while revenue climbed 27.8% year‑on‑year to Rs 3,62,268 crore. EBITDA hit a new high of Rs 62,409 crore, up 23.9% from Rs 50,367 crore a year earlier, according to the company’s filing with the stock exchanges.
The oil‑to‑chemicals (O2C) unit delivered its best-ever performance, with EBITDA surging 67.9% to Rs 25,203 crore and revenue rising 44.2% to Rs 2,31,601 crore. Mukesh Ambani said the segment’s gains stemmed from tighter fuel markets and improved petrochemical margins amid global supply disruptions—an outcome that fuels optimism for downstream operations.
Retail and digital commerce took a mixed beat. Reliance Retail Ventures posted a 6.4% rise in gross revenue to Rs 91,716 crore, but its EBITDA before a one‑time impairment fell 8.6% to Rs 6,228 crore as capital went to digital commerce and higher input costs. Meanwhile, JioMart’s revenue grew 42% year‑on‑year, underscoring the company’s e‑commerce momentum.
Oil and gas exploration held steady, with revenue at Rs 6,020 crore down 0.6% and EBITDA slipping 2% to Rs 4,901 crore. The dip is largely attributed to lower KG‑D6 gas production and weaker price realisations.
Capital expenditures for the quarter reached Rs 38,153 crore, focused on O2C and New Energy projects plus consumer business expansion. Net debt fell to Rs 1,17,140 crore from Rs 1,22,914 crore, while the first‑half profit for FY27 surpassed Rs 50,000 crore, hitting Rs 52,746 crore.
With these figures in hand, Reliance will detail its quarterly haul in the upcoming annual report, setting the stage for the next dividend declaration and investor briefing.
